KKB Wind Valley Campsite

KKB Wind Valley is literary located at Kuala Kubu Baru, roughly 1 hour plus away from the heart of Kuala Lumpur. You can use Google Map or Waze to reach here. You will pass by some housing area, a temple and then reach this site. It is reachable with a normal sedan car. This campsite is privately owned and its is actually a durian farm. Thus, maybe a little risky to camp under the tree during peak durian season. You will have the choice of either camping around Durian trees area or around the lake. The campground space here is rather limited and small especially those near the lake

However it is great if you are not camping under the tree and you can pick yourself some durian , be sure to ask the Camp Owners for permission first. There are no rivers here , making it suitable for camping during heavy rainy  season. There is a lake here and the whole campsite terrain is rather hilly.  Campers are allowed to fish and net for fishes in the lake. You can also take a boat ride ,while there is also a pontoon to reach the other side of the lake. The pontoon is also great for children to play. Children can also play around the public area with swings and so on. The camping area can be a little bit pack. The offloading process can be tough as campsite may be awalk away from campsite.

Things can get really hot during afternoon or evening as there are less trees by the lake side, so prepare some rechargeable fans. There are electric supply where which is included with the fees.  There are toilet and sink which is rather limited. The facilities here are well maintained. Overall the whole campsite is family and beginner friendly. If you are looking for wild factor, this would not be the campsite for you. There are plenty of rubbish bins. Do not throw rubbish around as you may get fined by the Camp Owner.  This is a pet friendly campsite which means you can bring your pets here.  The onwers  are friendly and helpful.
