A Step-by-Step Guide to Registering as a GrabFood Rider in Malaysia

- Make sure you fulfil all the criteria needed
- You are above 18 years old on the date of registration
- A Malaysian citizen with blue MyKad
- You have the eligibility to ride a motorcycle with a valid Malaysia Driver’s License (‘L’ license is not accepted )
- Have access to a motorcycle
- Vehicle cover note insurance must have DP name or stated ‘All Rider’.
- You own a smartphone (iOS or Android) with a stable internet connection for using the GrabDriver app
- As a concern, you are required to complete a medical check-up if you are over the age of 50. The form can be requested after registration has been done
- Never had any background issues (police/court cases)
- Never banned or suspended by Grab before
- Prepare the documents
- Profile Photo (For Grab Driver App Display)
- Identification Card (IC – Blue MyKad/ MyTentera)
- Driving License (B2/B/P only)
- Motorcycle Road Tax (Latest)
- Download the Grab application
