HOW TO USE NEWGENE ART TEST

Antigen Rapid Test (ART) is one of the fastest and easy methods for detecting the presence of Covid-19 virus. It can be tested through human saliva and self-administered at your house, office or any places. ART Newgene is an easy-to-use, user-friendly product and the results just within 15 minutes. There are two option for collecting sample, either saliva option or nasal swab option. You may choose only one option. This ART test comes with a manual, tube cap, sample extraction tube, swab stick and test card.

Nasal Swab Option

• Get a sample through the nose using a swab stick
• Insert into nose, turn 5 times and pull up and down 3 times
• Insert the sample into the provided tube, turn it 5 times and squeeze the tip of the sample
• Close the test swab tube and leave for 1 minute
• Insert 3 sample dots on the antigen ART test card and leave for 15 minutes
• Review test results

Saliva Option

• Get a sample of saliva / phlegm from the throat preferably after waking up from sleep
• Put phlegm / saliva in the plastic bag provided
• Obtain three drops of saliva using a dropper and insert into the sample tube
• Dissolve the sample using a dropper 5 times, close the bottle and leave for 1 minute
• Insert 3 sample dots on the antigen RTK test card and leave for 15 minutes
• Review test results

Test result

• Positive

If your test card displays two lines in the letters C and T, it means the test result is positive for Covid-19

• Negative

If the test card displays a line in the letter T, it means the test result is negative for Covid-19

• Invalid

If no line is displayed or the line is in the letter T, it means the result is invalid and the test needs to be repeated using a new kit
